Meet Chris Jacobson

For Chris Jacobson, real estate is about much more than houses and property—it’s about people, relationships, and helping others through some of life’s biggest decisions.

Chris grew up on Minnesota’s beautiful North Shore and graduated from Two Harbors High School. His deep roots in the area have given him a genuine appreciation for the communities, neighborhoods, and people that make northeastern Minnesota such a special place to call home.

Before beginning his career in real estate with Messina & Associates, Chris built his professional career serving families as a licensed funeral director. Working alongside families during some of the most important and difficult moments of their lives taught him the value of listening, attention to detail, clear communication, compassion, and above all, trust. Those same principles are at the heart of how Chris approaches real estate today.

Whether helping a first-time buyer find their first home, assisting a family searching for their dream home, marketing a property for a seller, or helping someone explore opportunities in the area, Chris believes every client deserves personal attention and exceptional service.

Chris proudly serves Duluth, Two Harbors, Hermantown, Esko, Proctor, Cloquet, the North Shore, and surrounding communities. His goal isn’t simply to complete a transaction—it’s to become a trusted resource his clients can call before, during, and long after the sale.

Outside of real estate, Chris values spending time with his wife and son and staying involved in the local community. You’ll often find him enjoying the outdoors, supporting local businesses, volunteering, or cheering his son on from the sidelines or at the racetrack.
